Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how RuteAppz uses cookies and similar technologies on ruteappz.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as session storage and local storage) and other identifiers that let a website or a service it uses remember information about your visit. They are used to make websites work, keep them secure, and understand how they are used.

2. How we use them

Optional technologies are grouped into Analytics and Functional. They load or operate only according to your choices, which you can set in our cookie banner or Cookie Preferences.

Strictly necessary

These technologies are always on. They include storing your cookie preferences, security and abuse prevention where required, and essential website functionality. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to help tell real people from automated bots. It supports security and abuse prevention, and may use cookies or similar technologies of its own to do so. Turnstile is not used for advertising or analytics.

Analytics and performance

We use analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, interactions and site performance, so we can improve the website and measure which campaigns lead to enquiries. These tools load or operate only after you allow Analytics. Depending on how the website is configured from time to time, this may include:

  • Google Analytics — measures pages viewed, interaction events, traffic source or referrer, device and browser information, and approximate geography provided by the analytics service.
  • Google Tag Manager — a tag-management tool used to load and manage other tags. It is not itself the analytics provider, and the data collected depends on the tags loaded through it.
  • Microsoft Clarity — provides usage insights about how visitors interact with pages, such as heatmaps and session replays, to help us improve the site experience.
  • First-party event tracking — our own records of page views, clicks, scroll depth and form events, linked to a random session identifier and campaign values. It does not store your IP address.

Functional

Functional covers optional third-party features. They load only after you allow Functional or, where noted, when you choose to enable them. Until then, the feature shows a notice instead. Depending on how the website is configured from time to time, this may include:

  • Tawk.to chat — if enabled, the chat widget may use cookies or browser storage, and handles the chat messages and technical information needed to run chat, plus anything you choose to type.
  • Calendly scheduling — if enabled, when you open the scheduler on our site a Calendly page is loaded inside it only if Functional is allowed (or you choose to enable it from the notice), and Calendly may set its own cookies or similar technologies while you use it.
  • Embedded videos — some pages may embed videos from providers such as YouTube or Vimeo, which may set cookies or collect usage information when the video player loads.

3. Cookies and storage we can identify

The following first-party browser storage entries are used by the website. Session storage is cleared by your browser when the tab or window is closed; local storage persists until it is changed or cleared.

NameProviderPurposeDuration

Third-party services described above may set their own cookies or identifiers. Their names and durations depend on the provider and its configuration, so we do not list them here; see the provider's own information below.

4. Your choices

When you first visit, you can choose Accept All, Reject Non-Essential or Manage Preferences. Optional Analytics and Functional technologies stay off until you allow them. You can change your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie Preferences” in the website footer.

You can also control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies and clearing site storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage may affect website functionality, such as submitting forms or remembering your preferences.

Where supported by our own website tracking, browser privacy signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control may be used to limit non-essential tracking, and our own event tracking is not sent when your browser sends one of these signals. Your explicit cookie preferences remain available through Cookie Preferences. Third-party services have their own controls, described in their privacy information. If you turn off Analytics or Functional after a third-party service has loaded, we stop loading it again, but we cannot undo data it has already received.

5. Third-party information

6. Changes to this policy

The technologies we use may change, and we may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
